Local Design Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") holds a large amount of personal information in connection with our business and in order to carry out our activities. We believe that protecting personal information is a major responsibility, and in order to gain the trust of the information subjects and society at large, we have established the following personal information protection policy and will strive to protect personal information.

- Cases that fall under the exceptions set forth in Article 27, Paragraph 1, Items 1 to 7 of the Personal Information Protection Act
- In the case of Article 27, Paragraph 2 (opt-out [excluding sensitive information]) or Paragraph 5, Items 1 to 3 (outsourcing, business succession, or joint use) of the Personal Information Protection Act
- When entrusting personal information to a third party for use, we will consider the appropriateness of the entrustment in light of the state of safety control measures at the third party, and will provide the information only after entering into a business outsourcing agreement with the third party that stipulates the matters necessary for appropriate supervision, including confidentiality, and will use these to ensure appropriate supervision of the outsourcee.
2. Safety management measures for personal information
In order to prevent and correct unauthorized access to personal information, as well as the leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, we have established internal regulations and strive to implement safety measures.To achieve the above objectives, we have taken the following measures.
- Formulating basic policies for the appropriate handling of personal information and personal data in accordance with laws, regulations, and guidelines
- Establishment of various regulations that define the roles and responsibilities of each person involved in the acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal of personal information
- Organizational safety management measures such as appointing a person in charge, clarifying the scope of employees who handle personal data and the personal data handled, establishing a reporting and communication system to the person in charge when facts or signs of violations of laws and regulations are discovered, and regular inspections of the handling status.
- Measures for human security management, such as including matters concerning confidentiality of personal data in the work regulations and conducting regular training on points to note regarding the handling of personal data
- Physical security control measures such as employee entry/exit control, restrictions on devices brought in, and restrictions and management of devices, electronic media and documents that handle personal data to prevent theft or loss.
- Technical security control measures, such as the introduction of systems to protect information systems that handle personal data from unauthorized external access or malicious software.
3. Remedial Measures
We will strive to respond appropriately to changes in the social environment regarding the handling of personal information. We will also strive to make improvements, such as changing, amending, or adding to this policy and various other regulations, as necessary.
4. Response to requests for disclosure, etc.
